2011 CYC Speaker

11 Mar

Hey friends.

We were extremely blessed this year to have Doug Routledge back with us to speak at CYC.  Based on the surveys that were filled out by the participants, Doug’s ministry ranked at the top of what ministered to people the most.

Because we were blessed by Doug, we want to extend the blessing to the world via the links below.  You can listen to them right off the page provided or you can download them and listen to them over and over and over (until you memorize them!).

Enjoy!

Destination: Unity

7 Mar

Words would fall short to capture the full impact that was left on many people at this year’s Crossover Youth Conference.  The praise team, breakout session leaders, Echoing Angels, and Doug Routlege each left deposits of God’s truth and love in the hearts and souls of those of us gathered.  The Lord’s presence was evident through both those who served and the students whose lives were touched.

Reality reveals not everyone gets touched by God in the same ways at the same time.  That’s okay.  Actually, that’s a good thing.  We wouldn’t need each other if all of our experiences were exactly the same.  In light of the diverse ways each of us were moved by God, we look forward to seeing the fruit that yields from our time together.

There were just over 100 students present, who represented over 10 area churches of various denominations.  This is phenomenal and very, very exciting.  Not only that, but it is also a strong testimony of unity, which will go a long way in our witness to the world around us.

Numerous volunteers contributed to make the conference run, who each deserve a big “Thank you!”  Without them, the event would not have run as smoothly as it did.

As we relish in the present and remain faithful to what we have been given, we look forward with great anticipation for what God might do among us in Dunn, NC.

Truly, all glory belongs to the God and Father of our Lord, Jesus the Messiah.

Just Days Away

28 Feb

small logo 2011.2Yup!

That’s right!

This year’s Crossover Youth Conference is just days away.

The good news is—it’s not too late to sign up and attend.  You have two options: sign up via the registration tab above or you can just show up at the door Friday night and register then.  The cost is only $15.

Friday night’s events are going to be full of some great fellowship, songs of praise, and solid teaching from our speaker, Doug Routledge.

CYC is a great opportunity for the young people in our area to experience some meaningful time together, all the while learning more about and being encouraged to seek the God of heaven.

Less Than Two Weeks!

Crossover Youth Conference is less than two weeks away!  Time sure does fly.shouting-300x200 copy

There has been a great response from various churches planning to participate in the event this year.  We are really excited about that and anticipate a wonderful time together.

The registration fee is now $15 for any wishing to register, whether online or at the door.  If money is the only thing preventing you or someone you know from coming, please send an email to crossoveryouthconference@gmail.com and we will work something out.

We are in prayer for all who will be together at CYC, trusting that our God will minister to each of us through one another in way that will cause our faith to grow and God to be glorified!

Itinerary

20 Jan

Hello friends.

Thanks to an inquiring mind, this is just a brief note to inform you that the itinerary for the event is being put together and will be provided on this site fairly soon.

However, in the meantime, it can be stated that doors will open Friday night, March 4 @ 6 p.m.  An hour will be allotted for registration and settling in.  At 7 p.m. we will kick off the events.  Friday night’s festivities will last until about 10, maybe 10:30.

Saturday morning, doors will open @ 8 a.m.  People are welcome to come for Saturday’s events even if they did not attend Friday night (price will be $15).  Registration can take place between 8 and 9.  We will begin the day’s activities at 9 a.m and they will last until the concert is over.  Echoing Angles will be performing sometime around 8:30 p.m.

Lastly, the admission fee covers one rubber wrist band, all speaking sessions, lunch on Saturday (hot dogs/hamburgers, chips, drink), and the concert Saturday night.  $10 is a steal!  $15 is still a steal, too!

We will have pizza for sale Saturday night for dinner.  (Don’t worry, it’ll be relatively cheap.)  There will also be hot dogs for sale throughout the entire event, so that can be eaten for dinner Saturday night, too.  If none of these options sound appealing, then you will have to make other arrangements for dinner.

Register now to avoid the extra $5 to admission (which will begin February 19).
